If you have a domain name that ends in .com, .net, .org, .biz, .us, .info, .tv or .cc and would like to transfer the registration to Register.com please see below.

If you wish to transfer your domain name to Register.com please follow the steps below:

1. Check the Administrative Contact listed in the WHOIS  to ensure that the email account listed is valid, as a confirmation request will be sent via email to this address.
2. Check with your current Registrar to determine if your domain name is on lock.  If your domain name has been placed on lock as a security measure, you should request to have that lock removed so that we can complete your transfer.
3. Obtain a Transfer Authorization code from the current Registrar. You'll be asked to provide this code when initiating the transfer process.
4. If the email address is valid, the domain name is in an active state and you have the domain name's authorization code, please click the Ask a Question tab above and submit your request to our Support Team or call one of the numbers listed above and have the following information available:

You may also submit your Transfer of Registrar request online. Click here  to initiate your transfer to Register.com today.

Once we have received your email conformation, the transfer will take place within five (5) calendar days unless the current Registrar of record denies the request. When your transfer is complete, you will be able to log into your account with Register.com at the Account Manager login page.
