How do I change my DNS settings?
If you wish to modify your domain names DNS settings you must first login to your Account Manager. If you have forgotten your Account Manager password please click here and then use the ‘Forgot your Username or Password?’ link.
Once you have logged into your account follow the steps below:
- Click on the domain name you wish to modify.
- Scroll down the screen until you see the existing DNS servers and blank text boxes where you can add your new servers.
- When you have completed your entry click ‘Continue’.
- Review your changes and click ‘Continue’ to confirm your changes.
Note: Once you have completed your DNS change you will no longer be able to modify your zone file settings through the Register.com Account Manager. For changes to items such as IP Address, CNAME or MX Records you will have to contact your new DNS Administrator.
